Injection Molding Machines
As the most common method of producing plastic products, injection molding is responsible for billions of parts each year. Commonly injection-molded products are as diverse as lawn chairs, Lego bricks and automotive body panels. In its simplest form, injection molding simply means molten plastic is injected into a mold, filling the entire cavity. But injection molding is much more complicated than that in practice. The molds must be carefully designed to allow for sprues and runners to properly channel the molten plastic to all parts of the cavity. Advantages include lower labor costs and higher production rates. The companies below manufacture or supply injection molding machines. Click on a link to view a company's information.
